Two class favourites, their way

Rockin’ the Wagon Wheel used the step-lock version rather than our grapevine variation. Shotgun Jenny remained one choreography, danced in Normal, Contra and Double-Circle Contra formats.

A massive thank you to Leila Collis and Philippa Beaver-Reed (Pip) for stepping in, demonstrating the dances and helping everyone with the steps while Nora was unable to teach as normal.

You both absolutely smashed it! ❤️ Thank you so much for all your help and support — it meant more than you know.

Class formats

Shotgun Jenny, three ways

We danced the same Shotgun Jenny choreography in normal, contra and double-circle contra formats. These are session variations, not separate library dances.

Low Places notes

Two Step song swap & Shotgun Jenny twist

Two Step: original choreography by Robert Royston, created for Two Step by Laura Bell Bundy feat. Colt Ford. We danced it to Friends in Low Places after Nora saw Tara Bianco use the song swap.

Shotgun Jenny: we used the Idaho-style version Nora learned from Troy & Elise at Dirt Road Dancing, with two lines facing each other and travelling in opposite directions.
